How do you do, fellow Apes?
Once more, our team has brought back quite the haul through their accomplishments in Immortal, and we are here to recap the details of how it all went down in the web3 chess competition we’ve been actively involved with for just over three-quarters of a year at this point on a competitive basis. Read on to find out more!
Leaderboards and tournaments: 1-2 finishes on both leaderboards!
Once again, our team secured the entire podium on the IP leaderboard, with Android16 getting the gold this time, just ahead of IM Egorka23 and FM Schachspieler. Last week’s winner, FM Figther75, finished in sixth place this time. With this, we’ve secured another nice set of finishes for a combined yield of 1.062 ETH.
This time, the competition was much fiercer on the Standard leaderboard, and though two of our three participating players finished in the top ten (Bulb in fourth and FM Lordtic in sixth), the expected rewards from this competition amount to 0.336 ETH.
Also, as usual, the Immortal Blitz Arena tournaments also took place (the results of which which you can check out in detail here and here), yielding approximately 0.263 ETH off the back of three and four respective top-ten finishes, in a very similar output as last week’s from this particular competition. each amounting to 0.27 ETH combined, bringing our rewards total for the week to a minimum of 1.661 ETH.
Inventory: still, still, still waiting
We are now five weeks into waiting for higher-quality releases and the arrival of a new Masterpiece, holding our fire instead investing additional resources into the current offerings on the marketplace. Just like before, this means our total assets under management for Immortal stayed at 83.638, chock-full of high-value items.
That’s about it for week 40 – we would like to take the time to thank and congratulate the BlackPool team’s players for their excellent performances. We can’t wait to see what awaits us in week 41, with seven or perhaps even eight top-ten finishes across the two leaderboards!
