Last weekend, The Herd had the great privilege of participating in the first closed test for Mighty Action Heroes - a browser-based, blockchain, battle royale game inspired heavily by the iconic action films of the 1980s.

Big Bear Syndicate holders were among the first to get their chance to play this highly anticipated game and we were right there beside them battling it out.

From the moment we started playing, it was clear that Mighty Action Heroes was going to be a hit. The gameplay is fast-paced and action-packed, with a great variety of weapons to choose from on the map, each with their own unique abilities and levels of rarity. The graphics are impressive for a browser game, and the controls are smooth and responsive. We only hope for a dodge-roll or a dash in the next updates.

One of the things that really sets Mighty Action Heroes apart from other battle royale games is of course the integration of blockchain technology. Not only does this add an extra layer of security to the game, but it also allows for the potential use of in-game NFTs as collectible items. Unfortunately for our initial play-through we were unable to collect NFTs as at this point everything was still off-chain except the characters, but we can’t wait to get our hands on some of these assets once the game is fully live.

Overall, we had a blast playing Mighty Action Heroes during the test weekend and are excited to see the project continue to evolve. We are great believers in the project and are looking forward to the full release of the game where we can fight with each other to determine who will be paying for the pizzas for the next BlackPool event!
