Now we know UGC platforms like Youtube / Facebook was where the true potential was.
Let's not make the same mistake
2. The interest in NFTs and metaverse is falling, according to Google Trends
Time to build, frens. Learn how to get the best out of the situation mentioned in point 8.

Immutable raised $200M from Tencent, Animoca Brands and Fabric Ventures, bringing the company's value to $2.5 billion.

— GuildOfGuardians (@GuildOfGuardian) March 7, 2022
5. Jake Paul hidden crypto wallets and scams
Blockchain never forgets. And Jake Paul is hiding a lot of things.
A couple weeks ago he got sued in the SAFEMOON class action lawsuit, for pump and dumping the coin, but to date, no one knows how much he got PAID to do these promotional tweets. https://t.co/BMTCYs3029

6. Stake DAO is validated once again by DefiSafety
"This was primarily achieved via great documentation relating to access controls. This protocol does a really good job of explaining to users how contract ownership functions in clear and comprehensible language accessible to all users."
Congrats Teams! The Herd 4ever (while making a heart with my fingers).
2/5 This was primarily achieved via great documentation relating to access controls. This protocol does a really good job of explaining to users how contract ownership functions in clear and comprehensible language accessible to all users. #DeFi

8. How to make the most out of a bear market by The Defi Edge

Your job is to survive.
— The DeFi Edge 🗡 (@thedefiedge) March 7, 2022
You can't reap the rewards of the next bull cycle if you fuck it up during this bear market.
Defense wins championships.
Crypto will break ATHs again, but not all projects will make it. That's why it's important to position yourself correctly.
9. Sia is Bianca Medici
Stunt or real move? What do you think, anon?
I am @BiancaMedici69
— sia (@Sia) March 8, 2022
and the wave of art that followed that I truly fell in love. And I mean down the rabbit hole, total degen, multiple wallets, jpeg addict, kind of love... At the core...
— Bianca 'de Medici (@BiancaMedici69) March 8, 2022
10. Jason Choi sums up 50 Web3 metaverse companies' interviews
"While P2E games are exciting and can evolve into more, the $1T moonshot opportunity lies in creating a virtual world in which games are only one of many use cases. Think a generalised virtual world - with permissionless creation + commerce, defined by immutable digital rights" - Jason Choi
1/ "Web 3 metaverse" refers to digital virtual worlds, often with some element of user-ownership via tokens or NFTs.
— Jason Choi (@mrjasonchoi) March 4, 2022
Every project we came across fell into one of 3 categories:
- Infrastructure
- Experience layer (in-world)
- Value-add layer (out-world) pic.twitter.com/LPD0igDClL
11. LimeWire is relaunching as NFT Marketplace
Top signal? You don't know LimeWire? Oh, My sweet summer anon...

The founder of Messari has some thoughts on the latest executive order by Biden.
2/ There's 10 sections.
— Ryan Selkis 📖 🖊🔑 (@twobitidiot) March 9, 2022
#1 is goals, #3 is about the offices coordinating, #9-10 are definitions & disclaimers.
Six main sections:
+ Summary objectives
+ CBDC R&D
+ Consumer & biz protection
+ Market integrity & systemic risk
+ Illicit finance risk
+ International coordination

13. The Future of Guilds and Gaming by Substreight and Gdalfz
"With the rise of PlayFi and the X-to-earn economy, guilds will likely see an increased role in organising people around new incentive structures in games, products, and services."
.: The Future of Fun :.
— JoΞ (@Substreight) March 9, 2022
In this post, @gdalfz and myself explore the strengths and weaknesses of current guild design. We propose simple improvements to better align players, guilds, and games. https://t.co/GGQqmEqNzS
14. Lens Protocol beta is now live!
The new project from AAVE is going live on testnet.
2/ Live on testnet, the beta API lightens the pain points of building on Ethereum. Want to build the next big social media platform on Web3? Hook up the API & start building w/o worrying about indexing & structuring data for quick querying or even needing to understand solidity🤯

15. South Korea's new president is pro-crypto
Conservative Party candidate Yoon Suk-Yeol, a former top prosecutor who promised to deregulate the crypto industry, will become South Korea’s next president.
Fewer taxes, more unicorns.

16. Bored Ape asking for KYC, just acquired CryptoPunks
Yes, you read that right, and Bored ape is asking its holders to KYC.
This has been building over the last seven months. @AnimocaBrands will launch the first phase, and there’s more to come. P.S. we don’t like KYCs either, but we think you’re going to want to be a part of this.
— Bored Ape Yacht Club (@BoredApeYC) March 10, 2022
On one hand, I believe competition is key to innovation. Rivalry - even if fanmade - can be healthy for industry. Nike vs. adidas, Marvel vs. DC, Kanye vs Drake, Coke vs. Pepsi.
— bobbyhundreds.eth (@bobbyhundreds) March 11, 2022
Some big news to share today: Yuga has acquired the CryptoPunks and Meebits collections from @LarvaLabs, and the first thing we’re doing is giving full commercial rights to the NFT holders. Just like we did for BAYC and MAYC owners. pic.twitter.com/lAIKKvoEDj

17. EtherRock listed for 444 Wei instead of 444 ETH...whoops
Fool play or fat fingers?
How's your week?
— Rock dust 😭 (@dino_dealer) March 10, 2022
Mine? I just erroneously listed @etherrock #44 for 444 wei instead of 444 eth🤦♂️
Bot sniped it in the same block and trying to flip for 234 eth
In one click my entire net worth of ~$1 million dollars, gone
Is there any hope?
Am I GMI?

19. The MICA regulation is coming soon to a neighbourhood near you!
The MICA regulation will be voted on March 14, and it's important to know more about it. But like always - DYOR.
(2/9) MiCa is a significant break with the principle of technological neutrality. MiCa prohibits the issuance or offering for exchange of crypto-assets that rely on Proof-of-Work protocols. This leads to a deadly regulation that excludes Bitcoin and Ether from Europe.
— Pierre PERSON (@Pierr_Person) March 11, 2022
No, the POW ban is no longer part of the compromise being voted on on Monday, see here 👇 https://t.co/RusXAKWZEz #BTC https://t.co/1OuQVFyvco
— Patrick Hansen (@paddi_hansen) March 11, 2022
2/ The responsible rapporteur (negotiator), @DrStefanBerger, has submitted a new proposal to the ECON-committee of the EP.
— Patrick Hansen (@paddi_hansen) March 7, 2022
Therein he suggests dropping any judgment/addressing of POW from the MiCA regulation👏👏
Instead he wants crypto to be added to the EU taxonomy.
2/ 4 days ago the rapporteur @DrStefanBerger tweeted that his new compromise dropped any ban/addressing of POW.
— Patrick Hansen (@paddi_hansen) March 12, 2022
Now just before the vote a last-minute draft brings back the ban. This is totally unexpected & I was too quick to dismiss that yesterday night.https://t.co/KDkX8inQcS
20. Minecraft Automated Market Maker since 2012
One 2012 Minecraft project was already using constant product AMM, years before DeFi. Well played, gamers. World domination is near.
This is not quite the constant product MM actually, this is a slightly different invariant function! Thanks @danrobinson for clarifyinghttps://t.co/lbUWWODK4Z
— Anthony Lee Zhang (@AnthonyLeeZhang) February 28, 2022
That's all, folks! Have a great week!
